"Ah! Enough of that. Fetch me another mug, would you?" Tanned fingers traced the line of the dusty table, pass white marble - that lass, Darla, and the boy's prize, Elizabeth - to flip a coin placed there. Flashing gold matched the burning eyes. Rum, a dangerous thing. Sparrow leaned back in his seat, smiled, another glint. Angelus, the same, relaxed, poured another cup. Watched Will walk off, Jack playing with a curl of Elizabeth's tresses. Indignant, she was, but smiled nonetheless.
A perfect triad. And, the vampire thought, family.
